Practice makes… NXNE ready
We are at practice getting ready for NXNE which is coming up this weekend. We have a few shows, so come on out. Apart from working hard, and trying to pull ourselves out of debt, nothing is new. We are working on august booking and fall booking. It’s nice to be home, not traveling though; I’m starting to get comfortable. Below is a video I made with Eddie and Mick from Stereo Goes Stellar. What has been going on…
So basically we have been working on new tunes to perform live. We have also started working on how we sound; for example adding FXs and amps. I should mention that we cancelled our east coast tour this june for no reason other than a lack of drivers. All along the tour was going to be acoustic but when two of our three drivers had to cancel do to work we were left with one uninsured driver. At that point as much as it killed us we had to cancel the tour. But, for those of you out east… do not worry. We plan on coming back in the fall. With the tour gone our summer is looking barren, but we assure you we will not be taking things easily. We still have to perfect the performance of our new album as well as get it mixed and mastered. But we will keep you posted. Thanks for stopping by.

POLLS CLOSED
OKAY! So it’s all over for the t-shirt poll. The winner is Number (6)! The baby blue with white & blue it’s nice to michou. Everyone in the band agreed so the shirts have been ordered. We are also going to get a purple shirt like number (8) & (9), but with the white and blue writing like number (6). Also, we are going to be getting a blue shirt like numbers (4) & (5), but still picking the color for the writing. So we will have 3 new shirts, which should be ready by this friday at THE BLIND DOG!

reasons for not getting the black and green shirt for those who are going 
The black shirt we thought might be a bit hot for summer, and we plan on now getting a black shirt for the fall.
We already have a green shirt that says michou in white, minus the “it’s nice too”… so we didn’t want to have two shirts so similar.

Going to the myspace I was shocked to see that we had almost hit 200,000 plays. The reason we are proud of this is because it means many of you have taken the time to give us a chance and listen to one of our songs. Whether you liked it or hated it, you took the time to come by and see what we are about. For giving us a chance so many times we’d really like to do you all a favour in return. NEW SHIRT DESIGN: we need your help!
Working on getting some new shirts for our June tour and NXNE. We ran out of the old “it’s nice to michou” shirts and have decided to get some new ones in! The only thing is we can’t decide on what colours to get. There are a bunch of options below; feel free to submit your own colour design to michoumusic@hotmail.com. NEW SONG (live off the floor) • Released Tomorrow
Tomorrow we will be releasing one of three new songs cut live off the floor at Empire Recording in Winnipeg. These songs will only be available at shows starting May 29th at the Blind Dog in Windsor (details at event link below). The ep, titled Rosehips EP, features: Rosehips, Four Brothers & Weak Knees. The songs are all acoustic, and we are only producing 500 copies. WEAK KNEES will be released online tomorrow at:
